PCG is inviting members to attend a workshop on the 29th January to discuss the issue of Intra Company Transfers (ICTs), currently having a major effect the marketplace for many contractors. The replacement of contractors with workers on ICT permits is something PCG has been campaigning strongly against for some time. This workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss further possible ways forward on the issue. We will endeavour to have key stakeholders and officials in attendance to present their views. The reform and tightening of the ICT rules and their rigorous enforcement is key to address the many issues with the current system.
PCG members interested in attending this workshop are strongly encouraged to contact

to register their interest, quoting “ICT Abuse Workshop” in the subject line. Places are still available, but are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. The workshop will take place at 2pm on the 29th January, at the Apex Hotel, 1 Seething Lane London, EC3N 4AX.
This workshop forms part of PCG’s campaign to highlight abuse of the Intra Company Transfer system. This campaign is to be stepped up in the coming weeks. We will be sending a dossier to the UK Borders Agency and Migration Advisory Committee on cases of abuse highlighted by PCG members. We will also send these examples to the Conservative Home Affairs team. Additionally, we are investigating possible pertinent Freedom of Information Act requests on the subject. Naturally, PCG will seek further meetings with UKBA and MAC to press home members’ evidence and concerns.
PCG was also featured on Radio 4's flagship current affairs programme"The Report", click here for more details.
